Located at 707 2nd Ave., Marlinton, W.Va. Phone number 304-799-4038 during business hours. We are just two blocks from the Greenbrier River Trail, a 77-mile-long rails-to-trail that runs along the river and is perfect for biking and hiking. 

We are on the edge of the Monongahela National Forest and just 30 minutes from Snowshoe and more technical mountain biking in Slatyfork. And the nearby Scenic Highway offers an incredible road ride. And if skiing is your thing, we have affordable winter lodging.

The Dirtbean's house is a comfortable, "shabby chic" eclectic mix of antique and handpainted furnishings as well as artwork done by Kristy and her mother Linda.  You might describe the feel as a luxury hostel due to its shared baths and common living areas.  We strive to provide comfortable, nice surroundings at an affordable, casual, bike rider kinda price.  You may rent by the room or rent the entire house.    

 

Rooms include:

  • The Hawaiian:  full size bed sleeps up to 2 people
  • The Rose: full size bed and twin sleeps up to 3
  • The Iris:  full size bed and full size sleeper sleeps up to 4
  • The Jungle:  Full size futon with twin bunk sleeps up to 3

The house is non-smoking. There is a common television in the living room.  The individual rooms do not have televisions.  Internet access is wireless at the coffee shop and is free to guests provided they have a notebook. Fitness Center is available for $12.

 Room Rates:

  • summer season $50+ tax /night double occupancy room

  • ski season rate $85+ tax/night double occupancy room

  • $15+ tax each additional person/ night

  • Use of kitchen and laundry included with room rate.  

Rent the whole house, great for groups and families, maximum capacity 12 people.

  • summer season $185+tax /night

  • ski season $275+tax /night minimum 2 night stay.   

Reservations taken at 304 799-4038 m-sat 8am-6pm. Bring your cycling/triathlon club or race team for a training camp and ask about discounts on lodging and training center.  We can also arrange coaching for your team.   

Ski Season is considered Thanksgiving through March -- Summer is considered April through just before Thanksgiving.Transportation to Snowshoe or Greenbrier River Trail available upon request to guests only 

24 hour notice standard, 72 hour notice peak holiday. Subject to $25.00 fee if shorter notice given.  No shows, card will be charged full amount.
