LDG Racing is a team of women cyclists that promotes fitness and health through the pure joy of riding a bike. Our mission is to liberate and empower women through cycling. Our humble start began a few years ago at a mountain bike clinic for women. We had an instant connection and began doing 24 hour mountain bike relay races. The team is well know in the 24 hour circuit and have been compared to rock stars, cheered on wherever we go. We bring a sense of fun, excitement and playfulness to a sport dominated by men.
We are a diverse group of women from sport level riders to a professional rider on the national and international circuit. For 2008 we will be competing in 24 hour races May-October in Ohio, West Virginia, Georgia, Vermont, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Our team members will also be competing individually in their regional series races on the trail, road and even in xterra off-road triathlons.
