Experience Pocahontas County the Dirtbean Way
The trails are an adventure, and we want you to experience them. Whether you are an experienced rider or just beginning, we can help you get the most out of your ride. Dirtbean owner, Kristy Lanier, is a former professional mountain bike and Xterra off-road triathlon racer. 30 years of industry knowledge can help you find the bike you need whether beginner or advanced. She excels in and enjoys helping beginners evaluate their riding needs so the proper bike for purpose and riding style is obtained. This knowledge and her knowledge of local terrain can help you find the ride and bike suited for your fitness and technical riding ability. With more trails than people to maintain them, Pocahontas County has everything to offer from rail trail to old school technical single track to new school (being built) flowy trails. We are in the process of transitioning our rentals and our bike shop to accommodate multi day bike packing and daily touring and cross country mountain bike riding. The Covid bike boom and subsequent drought of product has lead us to reevaluate the "dirt" aspect of Dirtbean. Look for us to grow again tailoring our shop to more "adventure" type riding.
If you already have a bike and it needs work, we do bike repair. We have a few mountain bike rentals available while you are waiting on repairs. Whether you're in the market for a new bike, or your old ride just needs a tune-up, our full service bicycle shop is here to help you. Dirtbean is proud to offer Giant brand bicycles, as well as several lines of accessories
